Unlike other biodegradable items on the market, which must end up in industrial composting facilities to degrade, our products can be safely discarded in a simple backyard compost pile. We also use farmed seaweed, which means the seaweed blend that goes into our products does not come at a cost to sensitive coastal habitats.

The inspiration for all of our materials is simple: Everything we create and release into the world should be Designed to Disappear™. Waste truly is a design flaw. We believe regenerative design is the future and what we create as humans should contribute to a healthier, more resilient, and equitable planet.

Our first application of SEA Technology - the drinking straw - is just the beginning. We are working tirelessly to advance our product portfolio to include items such as plastic utensils, cups, lids, and disposable take-out containers.
